Possum Merino
Possum Merino is our trademark blend. The possum fur’s hollow core enhances the warmth of merino wool, and gives the material its lightweight, lofty feel, and reduces the pilling often associated with pure woollen garments. Making it perfect for both summer and winter wear.
Care
Warm hand wash using wool detergent. Dry flat.
Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry cleanable.

The benefits of Possum Merino
We like to say a Noble Wilde garment is often the start of a lifelong love affair with possum merino, due to its truly unique qualities. Because once you put one on, you’ll never want to take it off.
Enhanced warmth
The possum fur has a hollow core, which enhances the warmth of merino wool, but also gives the material its lightweight, lofty feel.
Pilling resistant
The surface of woollen garments are often susceptible to pilling (or balling), especially after repeated wear or on 'high wearing' parts of a garment. The possum fur’s natural surface texture helps to counteract this process.
Naturally breathable
One of the merino wool’s best qualities is its ability to absorb large quantities of moisture vapour, and then move it away to evaporate into the air. This makes our garments naturally breathable and wondrous to wear.
Naturally therapeutic
One of the possum fur’s most unique qualities is it's therapeutic benefits. Scientific evidence points to an enzyme in the possum fibre that helps combat skin conditions like eczema.

Linen is the latest fabric to be welcomed into the Noble Wilde fold. Through time and use, linen fabric becomes soft and supple to the touch. Linen boasts longevity, lustre, and lovely drape. We are proud to say that our linen is Belgian grown—arguably the most prestigious in the world—and carries a European Grown Linen Trade Mark.
Care
Warm machine wash on a delicate cycle. Wash with like colours, inside-out. Use mild detergents. Do not wring. Medium-hot iron. Non-chlorine bleach when needed. Do not tumble dry. Dry cleanable.
